My Dot codes on my home Mac mini

Dot 진짜 편함. 집 맥미니 이용하여 열심히 눕코딩중ㅋ

First-hand post by Korean creator 이성곤 (skon0416): a screenshot of his conversation with his OpenAI Dot about building a tool to fetch Garmin workout records and original FIT files directly from his Garmin account using his home Mac mini. The Dot proposes an unofficial connection approach (storing the login session on the Mac mini), confirms read-only access, and asks the user to enter the password and verification code himself on the Mac mini login screen; the user approves ("좋아~ 진행해줘") and the Dot proceeds to code it. Caption translated: "Dot. Really convenient. Coding hard at home using my Mac mini lol."

Dot flags a five-figure revenue opportunity and preps a mobile app for launch

OpenAI's new always-on agent, dots, is here! Here's my new video showing you how it works and how it compares to Grok Bot and Muse. I've been testing it for a few days and it: → Flagged a five-figure revenue opportunity → Got my mobile app ready for launch → Made some great memes in Slack dots' biggest advantage is that it's natively integrated into ChatGPT, but that also comes with some trade-offs. 📌 Watch now: https://youtu.be/z5X1eMU6isI

Dot models a dog in Blender, starts an Xcode project, ships a Snake game

I called my AI assistant and gave it a Blender task. That was one of my first tests with ChatGPT dots, an assistant with its own cloud computer. You can call it, connect your apps, and choose to give it access to your own computer too. In this clip, I'm checking on a 3D model of my dog, watching it start an Xcode project, and looking at a finished Snake game. The part that stood out to me was being able to keep talking while it worked in the background. I could check what it was doing and give it the next task in the same conversation. These are a few quick highlights. In the full video, I go through the setup and spend more time with the actual tasks so you can see the process behind the results. I Tested OpenAI Dots: Can It Actually Help Me Work?

I Tested OpenAI Dots: Can It Actually Help Me Work?

I tested OpenAI Dots to see whether an always-on AI agent could help with the work inside my agency. Here is my first setup, voice conversation, workflow test and an Arsenal-inspired football-management prototype. The useful question for me is how much work it can carry forward between my decisions. I ask it to review my projects, help with content and outreach planning, and build something I can actually look at and try. There are promising moments, but also delays, missing functionality and things that still need checking. This is an honest first-use test, not proof that Dots can run a business unattended. Outreach discussed in the recording is preparation, not evidence that messages were sent. What would you give your dot as its first real task?
