First-hand build: Zeal Chou made a command-line interface for ChatGPT Dots that shows status, reads messages, and sends messages from the terminal. A screenshot shows a message sent from the local CLI being received and replied to. He also packaged a skill so other agents (Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build) can interact with dots through the CLI; MCP supported but optional.
