I've had early access to Dots for the last few days and gave my Dot one ongoing job: keep track of the AI tools I test, compare them against my needs, and update recommendations as tools and priorities change. Unprompted, it notified me a subscription was about to renew, showed which features overlapped with tools I already keep, and recommended cancelling before renewal. I reviewed the comparison and approved the cancellation.

My Dot proactively reminded me to taper my ad spend

The new AI agent Dot from OpenAI came out yesterday, and it already blew my mind today. It noticed I had a reminder in my calendar to reduce the ad spend on a campaign i'm running. So it cross checked that with my meeting transcripts and hit me up this morning to make sure I followed through. And it linked me to the transcript so I could remind myself of the details. I didn't ask it to do this, it just did it on its own.
