Will Francis (AI educator, @willfrancis, 262 likes, Sep 29, 2026) had early access to OpenAI's Dots and shows his Dot working in the ChatGPT app. Three concrete things he reports from real use: (1) proactivity — his Dot messages him throughout the day to remind him of deadlines and things he's supposed to have sent people, because it can see his email, calendar, and meeting notes; (2) feedback loop — the Dot asked him whether it was being too chatty, and it adjusted after he answered; (3) task orchestration — the Dot can start new tasks and chats on his behalf, on its own cloud computer or his own machine, and keep an eye on them wherever he is.
