His Dot cancelled redundant subscriptions and built a recipe website from Messenger history

posted

OpenAI's 'Dot' is starting to grow on me. I did some pretty neat stuff with it that really helps me. Some cool stuff I did lately: - This morning I had a phone call with it to manage my calendar, plan my week and be aware of everything I need to not forget this week. - It found a bunch of redundant or unnecessary subscriptions and canceled them for me. - I had it log in to my Facebook. My wife and I use Messenger all the time. I am now suddenly the thoughtful and mindful husband she wants me to be instead of constantly forgetting stuff because the Dot reminds me of everything she mentions in terms of events, things we need to do etc. It also dug through 6 months or so of our messages and created a website with all the "this looks yummy, we should cook it some time" recipes she tends to send me.
