Called my Dot from the car; benchmark files were on my laptop when I got home

I just called Chungus (my OpenAI Dot) on the phone while picking up mexican food and asked it to transfer some Rex benchmarks from last night on my Mac Studio to my MacBook Pro via Tailscale and I just got to my desk and there they are. What a fucking time to be alive.

First-hand result from Mitchell Hashimoto: he phone-called his OpenAI Dot (named Chungus) while picking up Mexican food, asked it to transfer that night's Rex benchmarks from his Mac Studio to his MacBook Pro over Tailscale — the files were already there when he got to his desk. I’m enjoying @openai new ai personal assistant dots comment “link” to get the full video on how I’m using it! 🎥 while not perfect, it is the first AI assistant that feels like it is up managing me across all the context and integrations ChatGPT has. And so useful that it has its own computer to be always on / to do work in the background so my flow isn’t interrupted Content ideas, appointments, travel, ordering me food, protecting my attention & reminding me to do what I said I would do are you using an AI personal assistant? across openclaw, Hermes, muse, instinct and now dots do you have a favorite? #ai #aiassistant #openai
