Dot in Slack hunts down a design template across Drive

@gabrielchua

posted

I love using my dot in Slack and forwarding it 1,001 messages. Here's an example of delegating across tools: Codex is building my Tokyo and Seoul DevDay presentation as a Sites app; Design flagged font sizes and referenced an existing template which I'd skipped while vibe coding. So I forwarded the Slack message to my dot: find it in Drive, extract the typography, pull the remotely hosted source, and compare the two.

Gabriel Chua forwards a Slack message to his Dot asking it to find a design template he lost track of in Google Drive, extract its typography, pull the remotely hosted source, and compare it against the deck Codex built for his Tokyo/Seoul DevDay presentation. First-hand cross-app delegation demo with a screenshot.

I didn't know dots can do this??

So when dots first came out, I wanted to try some of the features so I hooked it up with my google drive and gmail and tested some stuff. I thought it was cool, stopped testing and moved on and quite frankly, I totally forgot about it. So today, I was working and I created some non confidental work related docs on to my google drive and just went on with my business. Then moments later, dots messages me and tells me that this doc has information with references that do not exist and it fixed it for me?? I was like wtf?? So I checked it and luckily it was right and I am glad it caught it but I was a bit shocked? This means that whenever I created something or uploaded something, it was constantly monitoring the files for facts or whatever reasons it may have and I didn't know? Did you guys know?

Draco caught a client’s blocked ads while Ivan was out

#ChatGPT #Dots #IntelligenzaArtificiale #AIperBusiness #Marketing
