10 days with my Dot named ABYSS: article confirmed live, Word draft done, 202 emails sorted

OpenAIのdotsを契約して、10日ほど実務に入れています。わたしのdotには「ABYSS」と名前を付けました。 終わった仕事はあります。予約記事が公開ページまで読めることの確認、提出用Wordの記入済み下書き、メール202スレッドの初期分類、6件のタスク登録と連絡。どれも、チャットの外に成果が残る仕事でした。 止まった仕事もあります。dotsについて書いたこの記録そのものです。本文と表紙はできていたのに、公開の指示が会話の中で確認できないとして保存されず、完成原稿をPCへ渡す手順も拒否されました。最後は別のAIが原稿を引き取り、審査を通して下書きにしました。 10日で一番大きかったのは、dotsが「賢いチャット」ではなく「自分用のPCを持った同僚」に近いと分かったことです。クラウドに自分のPCとブラウザーを持ち、会話していない間も進む。dotとの会話は利用枠に数えないので、何度でも確認できる。ただし、Codexなどの作業タスクは通常どおり枠を使います。 だから依頼には、何が返ってきたら完了か、止まったら誰が何をするかを添えるようにしました。節約できた時間や売上への効果は、まだ測っていません。 くわしい10日間の記録はnoteに書きました。プロフィールのリンクからどうぞ。 #AI活用 #dots #ChatGPT #AIエージェント #作業ログ #自動化

The creator named their Dot "ABYSS" and reports CONCRETE finished work: confirmed a scheduled article reached a readable public page, completed a filled-in Word draft for submission, initial classification of 202 email threads, and 6 tasks registered with contacts — all work leaving results outside the chat. Honestly also reports stalled work: the Dot refused to save/publish the very log about it because the publish instruction couldn't be confirmed mid-conversation (another AI completed the draft). Key takeaway: the Dot feels like "a colleague with their own PC" — own cloud PC + browser, keeps working while idle; Dot conversations don't consume quota (Codex work tasks do). Time saved / revenue effect not yet measured.
