Dot "Dexter" caught a duplicate in badge data before it went to production
added
Been using agents for 6 months now and decided to plug in a new OpenAI "Dot" to my work accounts yesterday, but being underwhelmed by slow responses and hamstrung permissions, decided to shelve it for now. Today, I used a totally disconnected agent on another platform to update some data in a Google Sheet and email it to a vendor. A few minutes later, my dot, Dexter, pipes up: "One possible duplicate in the updated badge data: rows... [redacted]. Worth checking before production unless you intended two copies." And my jaw literally fell open while I processed what just happened: the dot was watching my email, realized the intent & importance and decided—completely unprompted, mind you—to double-check my work. I experienced a strange sensation combining both sentiments in the title at once. I'm landing on the side of the former vs the latter, but wondering what you think. Might want to be careful what you give it access to, but give it what's useful it'll should definitely show some value.
