Dots not useless, you’re just holding it wrong

I feel like people are mad that Dot isn’t a chat bot… but if you want that you already have it. What I find it useful for is throwing my work at it. I told it to research new prescription lenses for the steam frame. It did research unit he various vendors, found their limits and proposed one to me. I picked one and it added it to my todo list. I also asked to tell me when my reservation was current so I can decide whether or not to buy it. It even opened the browser and talked to Zenni on their web chat and asked a human to confirm that there is no way to get custom high index lenses then sent me the transcript. I also asked it to research apartments so it searched 68 different apartments, checked different units, availability and prices conf and gave me a shortlist for further digging. I’ve found it interesting. It’s basically my idealised version of Siri. What Siri could have been if it wasn’t shit (although way better now; still kinda useless though).
