OpenAI Dots + Instacart Doesn't Allow Cross-Store Price Comparison This cannot be good for us consumers.....

First-hand result: u/Genera1Ts0 asked their Dot (Instacart connected, current store Sprouts) to check a grocery list across stores and 'try to optimize for price across stores'. The Dot reported the Instacart connection explicitly restricts cross-store price comparisons - including comparing separate carts - and offered single-store optimization instead. Screenshot of the full Dot conversation included.
