Finally got the hang of dot Now it's my PM for multiple things, running a modified versions of @kunchenguid 's stuff from his repo Muse on personal things and some random automation and vaccuuming up contents to spit back out Instinct to catch up on things and random stuff here and there What a time to be alive

Aria (@ariapramesi) reports first-hand that his Dot now acts as his project manager across multiple things: it runs a modified version of Kun Chen's automation code from his repo, handles random automation, and 'vacuums up contents to spit back out' (content aggregation/curation). In comments he adds the Dot is running his entire fleet of websites plus content curation/creation hands-off, giving him back free time.

I Tested OpenAI Dots: The AI Agent That Does Everything

OpenAI Dots is a new always-on personal AI agent designed to understand your goals, connect to your apps, and take action on your behalf. In this step-by-step tutorial, I'll show you how to set up OpenAI Dots and put it to work on a real-world task. We'll use it to plan a family trip to Costa Rica, create and edit a custom travel card, connect to Gmail, draft an email, and send everything - all by simply talking to the AI agent. In this video, you'll learn how to: set up and customize your OpenAI Dot; use your AI agent to plan a complete trip; generate and edit images using natural language; connect your agent to Gmail and other apps.

Recreated an agent dot as a 3D Gaussian Splat with GPT-6 Astra + Blender MCP

Since dots isn't available in the UK yet, I decided to spend my credits elsewhere! I found the new dots agents pretty cute, so I thought I'd try to recreate one of them as a Gaussian Splat and it went astonishingly well, with little to no handholding, which means you could do it as well! How: 1) a couple of prompts with Astra + Blender MCP to get the 3D model right (~15 minutes); 2) one additional prompt to render it 1000 times in Cycles and train a Gaussian Splat; 3) ~6-7h of local compute, then the .ply into SuperSplat editor.
