I’m entering the OpenAI DevDay Side Quest sweepstakes for a chance to win an OpenAI prize. #OpenAISideQuest Asked my dot for a pet avatar inspired by Satellarknight Deneb. It made this animated star-knight, now my dot’s avatar.

Kaleb Southerland (@kalebtys) asked his OpenAI Dot for a pet avatar inspired by Satellarknight Deneb; the Dot produced an animated star-knight video that is now the dot's own avatar. Posted as an entry in the OpenAI DevDay Side Quest sweepstakes (#OpenAISideQuest, disclosed). First-hand, concrete creative result with attached video.

Meet Buzz. My dot who is helping me stay on top of SF Tech Week. Always-on, remarkably capable, and powered by GPT-6 Astra. #ChatGPT_Partner In the video, Vin Matano introduces Buzz, his personalized ChatGPT dot. With less than a week before his SF Tech Week business trip and no planning done, he asks Buzz to review his upcoming schedule and prioritize for the trip. Buzz proactively shows three flight options from Newark/JFK to San Francisco, books the chosen flight, and adds it to his calendar.

My dot is called Nyx. I like the stream of consciousness way of interacting with it. I can just fire off things and it'll work out what I mean and sort it into a series of topics itabages in the backend. We're working on a series of plugins to connect to some things, managing some running projects on the MacBook I've provided while I'm traveling and keeping me abreast of things I need to know about my flights and where I'm traveling. It's, low key, chill and just sorta works.
