Custom dashboard for a Dot

Built my own dashboard for my dot. Tasks, priorities, and projects in one place. I talk to it in chat, and it updates the dashboard. You can build your own UI around your dot too. Works great with your phone as well.

Daniel Adam De La Rosa (@danieladamdelarosa) built his own dashboard for his Dot — tasks, priorities, and projects in one place — and the Dot updates the dashboard through chat, including from his phone. Posted with attached images on Threads, 2026-10-06.

Dots tested: 3 stores, one AirPods catch

Romy Voss's first-hand OpenAI Dots test (Oct 2): his Dot searched 3 stores and found an AirPods Pro 3 'catch' — about $250 before tax — comparing Target store returns vs Apple mail returns, completing the hunt in roughly seven minutes. Creator discloses the video itself is narrated by an AI-generated host.

Dot booked haircuts on a flexible 4-6 week window without issue (Hermes managed 2/10)

Back in April I set up Hermes to specifically book me haircuts. But not on a regular cadence, in a 4-6 week window, based on priors. It worked... maybe 2/10 times, after tons of configuration and fighting my barber's booking system. I just used a Dot to do it without issue. Game done changed (again).
