Dot renders an illustration with accurate character proportions

added Oct 9, 2026

First-hand Threads post by @kagamitei (鏡海亭, 2026-10-09): their Dot generated an AI illustration of two characters from their work 'Alpherion' (Eleanor and Reisia), correctly rendering the characters' height difference — which the author explicitly credits: '身長差をほどよく描き分けてくれるdotさん、優秀だな' (the dot draws the height difference well). Attached image is the Dot-generated illustration. Caption tags it 'AIイラスト ChatGPT' / dot.

Dots tested: 3 stores, one AirPods catch

Romy Voss's first-hand OpenAI Dots test (Oct 2): his Dot searched 3 stores and found an AirPods Pro 3 'catch' — about $250 before tax — comparing Target store returns vs Apple mail returns, completing the hunt in roughly seven minutes. Creator discloses the video itself is narrated by an AI-generated host.

ChatGPT dot

Called my Dot from the car; benchmark files were on my laptop when I got home

I just called Chungus (my OpenAI Dot) on the phone while picking up mexican food and asked it to transfer some Rex benchmarks from last night on my Mac Studio to my MacBook Pro via Tailscale and I just got to my desk and there they are. What a fucking time to be alive.
