Probé Dots, el nuevo agente personal de OpenAI, por primera vez y en vivo, sin preparar nada. Lo configuré, le pedí tareas reales y lo comparé con Hermes y OpenClaw, los agentes de código abierto que ya uso a diario. En el video Dots lee mis últimos correos, arma un Google Sheets, lo envía por Gmail, prepara un documento de prueba y lo manda a firmar por Signwell, y busca vuelos por su cuenta.

I Tried OpenAI Dots. Does It Actually Follow Through?

I tested OpenAI's new AI agent with two real-world tasks: creating a hip-hop beat and researching website builders before setting up an automated monitoring task. Music generation: Can Dot turn a simple prompt into a finished, downloadable track? Research and reporting: Can it compare five AI website builders, research pricing, and create a structured report? Automated tasks: Can it monitor changes every weekday and notify me only when something meaningful happens? The verdict? Dot shows promise as an AI agent that can follow through on multi-step tasks. But it still needs human oversight, especially when accuracy, permissions, and scheduled actions matter.
