Dot built me a daily tech-news HTML brief

added Oct 12, 2026

Senang nak catch up dengan latest news.

First-hand Threads post (2026-10-09, Malay, @thaqifdev): poster asked his Dot to fetch the latest tech news, compile it into HTML, and send it to him — a working daily tech-news brief built and delivered by the Dot. Screenshot shows the compiled output. Caption in original Malay.

I gave ChatGPT Dots real tasks — animation built, App Store A/B test planned

Is ChatGPT Dots worth upgrading for? I put it to the test with real tasks, from creating an animation to planning an App Store A/B test for my app, Side Quest Slayer. I'm sharing what I genuinely like, the technical issues I ran into, and whether I'd recommend upgrading to the $100/month plan just for Dots. We'll try customization, calls, and messaging, then get into the pros and cons.

This is sick! Hark proactively went and filled out our South Korea arrival cards before our upcoming trip. I hate filling these out. So good!

Vibe-coding without typing: Dots -> Relay MCP -> IDE, all from mobile
