First-hand post by @kensumi.ai19820909 (けんすみ（山本哲也）｜海外AI事例の裏取り編集者), in Japanese, with a 35-second screen recording of a Notion task dashboard managed by their Dot. Concrete first-hand results: (1) the Dot automatically surfaces card payment and YouTube membership payment deadlines via its Gmail connection; (2) it proactively picked up a deadline task for an upcoming organic-farming study group without being instructed. Author says they're 'quietly moved.' Posted 2026-10-13, public Threads post.

Dot as a dedicated research partner for a side project

Sharing how I use dot. I have been using dot as a dedicated research partner for a side project I'm building. Instead of asking it random questions I give it very narrow research missions. Things like finding datasets, checking licensing/commercial-use rights, comparing sources, identifying gaps, kind of producing a clear recommendation before building the next step. Basically the guy I send away to investigate while I am running a prompt on the product, I find it extremely helpful for this kind of stuff. For reference: it's an audio related app / signal analysis
