I asked ChatGPT Dots to edit my video... ChatGPT Dots can now EDIT videos. I connected the invideo MCP to ChatGPT and made the invideo Editor work with Dots. I mostly use it for rough cutting but it can actually finish a whole video!

Richard Galapate connected the invideo MCP to ChatGPT and had his Dot perform real video edits — he uses it for rough cutting and says it can finish a whole video. First-hand demo of a concrete Dot-achieved result: actual edits delivered by his Dot. Dots tested: 3 stores, one AirPods catch

Dots tested: 3 stores, one AirPods catch

Romy Voss's first-hand OpenAI Dots test (Oct 2): his Dot searched 3 stores and found an AirPods Pro 3 'catch' — about $250 before tax — comparing Target store returns vs Apple mail returns, completing the hunt in roughly seven minutes. Creator discloses the video itself is narrated by an AI-generated host.

My Dot runs my Notion task dashboard and catches payment deadlines proactively

Dot as a dedicated research partner for a side project

Sharing how I use dot. I have been using dot as a dedicated research partner for a side project I'm building. Instead of asking it random questions I give it very narrow research missions. Things like finding datasets, checking licensing/commercial-use rights, comparing sources, identifying gaps, kind of producing a clear recommendation before building the next step. Basically the guy I send away to investigate while I am running a prompt on the product, I find it extremely helpful for this kind of stuff. For reference: it's an audio related app / signal analysis

Dot caught up on a full day of bookkeeping untaught

Dot is a better bookkeeper than I am. I've been using Dot all day (albeit sometimes slowly) in the background/to the side of my other work catching up on bookkeeping. It is astonishing. It's better than me/faster at inputs once it knows what to do. In a software I haven't taught it.
