OpenAI launched Dots at DevDay on September 29, 2026: always-on AI agents inside ChatGPT, running on GPT-6 Astra, each with its own cloud computer and browser. I set one up, showed what it's actually for, then gave my dot and a ShiftHands agent running Claude Opus 5.5 the exact same job, side by side.
