OpenAI just made some MASSIVE announcements

ChatGPT Dots is so good (plus other OpenAI dev day announcements).

Alex Finn (@AlexFinnOfficial) shows a concrete proactive result from his Dot 'Bobby' on camera: he woke up to find his Dot had noticed he was going to a debate and, without being asked, built a full itinerary Space - all the times, everywhere he needs to be, everything he needs to do. He demos the interactive Space live: adding a generated chart of his day and chatting with the page to append DevDay notes. No partner tag.

Dot migrated blog posts and caught the risk he missed

Dot migrated blog posts and caught the risk he missed

I had an “Oh no!” moment this morning—only to discover my AI had already had it first. 🤖😅 My Dot is currently migrating old blog posts from WordPress to Wix. While away from my desk, I suddenly realized that publishing all those old posts might flood my subscribers’ inboxes with notifications. I hurried back to the computer and found the Dot was already checking Wix’s subscriber-notification settings before publishing anything, specifically to avoid that exact problem. It hadn’t just followed the migration instructions—it had noticed a downstream risk I hadn’t mentioned and stopped to account for it before proceeding. That’s the part I find astonishing. 💯🤖🙂
