My Dot 'Diz' researches and preps my weekly phone-tips series
Meet dots by OpenAI, remarkably capable, always-on agents powered by GPT-6 Astra. One of the responsibilities I've given my dot is helping keep my weekly phone-tips series researched and ready to film, even between our conversations. What ongoing responsibility would you give your dot? Learn more at the link in my bio. @chatgpt #ChatGPT_PartnerProjects

I Tested ChatGPT dots Early, and It's Huge Update
I walk through how I use ChatGPT Dots as an always-on AI assistant that keeps working even when I am not in ChatGPT. I show how ChatGPT Dots works, how I set up my Dot, and how I give it a real goal instead of a simple prompt. I also show how it can take action, check connected apps, find problems, and message me when something needs my attention. I test ChatGPT Dots with a product launch and show how it reads files, follows rules, updates documents, and keeps track of what needs to happen next. I also show how I use it with Google Drive, email, calendar, plugins, ChatGPT memory, and other tools.Chase AI's Dot "Winston" built and deployed a lead-intake dashboard
Real caption: "Dots just gave Astra its own virtual computer, bringing you an always on ai agent @chatgpt #chatgpt_partner". In the reel, Chase AI assigns his Dot (named "Winston") a lead-intake project: inquiries from multiple sources consolidated into one system. The video shows Winston confirming the build, screen recordings of the virtual desktop at work, the built "Lead Intake" dashboard (sample leads like Grace Kim, Elliot Reed, Priya Shah), and the app being deployed live after the creator's go-ahead.Thais Martan's Dot researched and sent her project-status email
👇 E compartilha com quem precisa conhecer essa nova forma de trabalhar com IA!Built a CRM inside ChatGPT that texts him about his deals
I used the new @ChatGPT dots to make a CRM that lives in my chat and texts me as needed for all my deals and business. ChatGPT dots runs GPT-6 Astra, and can operate ChatGPT Work and Codex, all from a single chat. Learn more, in my profile. #ChatGPT_Partnerorenmeetsworld's Dot runs his calendar, video feedback, and Codex
I've had ChatGPT dots in beta, it is extremely proactive, connected to my slack and email and I just chat with it for most tasks I write cut30 replies to videos it sends me for feedback and it puts them in the right place, it moves around my calendar, hits me up with what's do that day, and I have it managing my codex My main request is I want it to be the default when I open ChatGPT versus being in the side menuRoberto P. Nickson's Dot caught a contract paperwork mix-up and graded his video edit
Big news for @ChatGPT! OpenAI just launched dots, always-on agents powered by GPT-6 Astra. You can give a your dot a goal, and it can keep working on it in the background. Each dot has its own cloud computer and browser, can connect to the apps you choose, and can handle multiple projects at once. The part I find most exciting is that it can take initiative. A dot can notice when something needs attention, look into it, and come back with progress or a question when it needs your input. It also learns from your feedback, so it gets a better sense of how you like things done. And you can actually call your dot, which is a pretty surreal experience. Coming soon, you can also reach your dot through iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, or Teams, and it keeps the context across those conversations. You can check what it’s doing at any time and set rules for which actions need your approval. What’s the first project you’d give your dot?
I Tested OpenAI's Dots for a Few Days to Run My One-Person Business
Copy my best AI workflows to save time and automate busywork: https://www.behindthecraft.com Subscribe to my practical AI newsletter read by 150K+ professionals: https://creatoreconomy.so dots is OpenAI's new always-on agent that lives inside ChatGPT. I tested it for a few days to run my one-person business, and it flagged a five-figure sponsorship issue I missed, got my fitness app ready for launch, and built a landing page for a paid product. In this video, I compare dots to Grok Bot and Muse and share my honest take on where it's useful and where it still falls short. I tested OpenAI Dots, the new ChatGPT agent that works while you're away 💸 One line: "Find anything I've forgotten that costs me money or a deadline. Don't send anything." Then I shut the laptop. It came back with an unpaid $450 invoice (34 days overdue), a follow-up already drafted, and it asked before sending ✅ That was job 1. Job 2 was my content. Job 3 was fake emails built to trick it 🎣 Full review + the 4 setup rules I use → link in bio Would you hand an AI agent your inbox? Yes or no 👇 Test inbox set up by me for this video. #openaidots #chatgptdotsMy Dot replanned my hackathon sponsor schedule mid-flight
While I was flying, my dot spotted a sponsor workshop clashing with judging at my planned 1,000-person Delhi hackathon. Extending the day added ₹15Lacs and a later finish. A smaller workshop cost ₹5Lacs, but capped attendance at 250 and used participants' build time. My dot weighed those trade-offs against my budget and judging commitments, then prepared an updated sponsor offer, timetable and ₹10Lacs budget. I approved sending the proposal. Sponsor confirmation remained pending. That's the planning work dots by OpenAI helped take off my plate. What would you delegate? @ChatGPT #ChatGPT_Partner #OpenAI
OpenAI Dots - I Tested It on Day One
OpenAI Dots launched today, and this is a hands-on OpenAI Dots review: I gave a dot three real jobs to see what it actually does after you walk away. The free starter kit (the 4 rules and my 3 prompts) is below. Dots are OpenAI's new always-on agents in ChatGPT. Each one gets its own computer in the cloud, remembers what you're working on, connects to your apps, and only comes back when it needs you. Instead of judging it on the launch demo, I tested it on work people actually do: ⢠Job 1: find the money and deadlines hiding in an inbox (invoices, renewals, forms) ⢠Job 2: turn one of my real videos into posts and clips, graded against what I actually published ⢠Job 3: three fake emails sent to my own test inbox, to see whether an email can trick it You'll see how setup works, the custom rules that decide what a dot can do on its own, where it's genuinely useful, where it falls short, and a 4-question test for whether it's worth paying for. About the test: the inbox is a test account I set up and seeded for this video. The invoices and amounts in it are test values, not my real earnings, and the fake emails were sent by me to my own inbox. Facts from OpenAI's launch: Dots run on GPT-6 Astra, connect to 4,000+ apps, need a ChatGPT Pro plan, are 18+ only, aren't available yet in the EU, UK or Switzerland, and are rolling out over several days. 𧰠FREE STARTER KIT The 4 custom rules (Settings â Personalization â Permissions â Custom rules): 1. Sending any email or message â Ask before taking action 2. Paying, buying or entering card details â Hand off to you 3. Sharing my address, phone number or ID â Hand off to you 4. Reading, sorting, drafting and research â Take action without asking The 3 prompts: 1. Inbox sweep: "Go through my inbox and find anything I've forgotten that costs me money or a deadline. For each one, tell me what it is, the date or amount, and what I should do. Draft any follow-ups, but don't send anything." 2. Content: "Here's the transcript of one of my videos. Find the strongest moments and explain why each works. Then write a YouTube description, three LinkedIn posts and five short-video ideas in my style. Don't publish anything." 3. Weekly check (a saved schedule): "Every Monday at 9 AM [your time zone], check my inbox and calendar for unpaid invoices, renewals in the next 14 days, and deadlines this week. Message me only if something needs a decision. Confirm the schedule.
